Gladys Magazine Interviews Kiowa Gordon

This month's "Love" issue of Gladys Magazine features Kiowa Gordon. Always down-to-earth and laid back, some of his answers are very touching. KG gets right down to it.

If you could write your own storyline in life, how would it go?
I'm enjoying my own storyline right now. My life has been great so far, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Who would you cast to portray you in a film?
My life isn't ready to be a film yet.

You're planning a dinner. Name four guests you're inviting.
Geoff Rickly from Thursday, Kurtis Travis from A Lot Like Birds, Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, and Anthony Green from Circa Survive. We could get crazy and sing some Acapella.

What is your most treasured possession?

I don't treasure any possessions, really.

Which talent would you most like to have?

The ability to make anyone laugh without even trying and bring humanity closer together.

What and or who is your dream date?

I don't know. I'll let you know when I find her.

Who inspires you?

Pretty much everyone, but I really look up to my dad. I try to make a map based around what he taught me to do and not to. I like to find something inspirational, to take away, in every person I meet.

What's next for you?

I just finished up a film in Sudbury, Ontario, called The Lesser Blessed. Based on the novel by Richard Van Camp. I play Johnny, a Metis bad boy. Hopefully we'll see it around some fesitvals. Next, I would like to do a comedic project.

On December 23, 2011, Kiowa Gordon hosted the Toys For Tots' toy drive at the Racer's Edge in Burbank, CA, taking a spin around the rink himself. (One lucky fan won a race with Gordon!)

Lesser Blessed Cast Video Chat.

Last month Kiowa and fellow castmates Chloe Rose and Spencer Van Wyck invited their fans to a video chat. Along with many other enthusiastic fans, I participated in this. They responded to as many people as possible; (I even managed to get a handful of responses in there, along with a "what up Lieutenant!" and "we slayed those.." Kiowarriors shoutouts!) and they all seemed to have a lot of fun with it. KG serenaded everyone with a little goofy "White Christmas." Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for The Lesser Blessed this year!

Kiowa Speaks To Clevver TV

On the black carpet of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 Premiere, Kiowa stops to talk with Clevver TV. Never ceasing to make us laugh, he jokes:

Clevver TV: "Dude, I feel like we never see you! Where have you been hiding?"
KG: "In my closet...Just kidding! That sounded bad!"

Kiowa Takes Time Out with DAMAN.

Starting off with an oldie, but a goodie! (Okay, so it's not from the Stoneage Chronicles.) On November 19th, 2011, Kiowa shot some stunning photos for DAMAN and gave them a glimpse into his life. These are still some of our favorites yet!

Upon his last question, ("Your motto in life is...") he showed his true carefree attitude and incidently paid homage to a recent twitter conversation between him and a couple of his fans: "Hakuna Matata. It means no worries for the rest of your days. Even though it’s a Lion King reference it still has a lot of weight."
